I also use the device with the UPC Digicard - works perfectly and never had any problems. The desired programme can be selected as usual in the TV guide by pressing a button for recording.
However, it has happened that a programme was recorded in encrypted form. However, in most cases it could be decoded in real time. I can only recommend the unit. My favourite function is the possibility to watch all recordings in double speed - with sound. It saves me a lot of time. Sometimes you don't even realise that the recording is running at double speed. Until now, I didn't know of any device that could do that.
