I have a TV that can only do H.264 and cannot show the future SRF-UHD because it needs H.265 for that. Can I continue to use this TV if I connect this recorder (can do H.265) to the UPC cable connection and connect the TV to the recorder? I don't want to replace the TV because I have an HD with a lot of recordings on it that I will lose all with another TV. I also don't like to throw away good equipment that works.
