I would like to know if it is possible to take pictures during the videos. And if it is possible to switch from video mode to photo mode without going through the graphical interface on the screen.

That's not the answer you wanted, I know....

I just want to say that from the stats, the Go Pro Hero 4 Black Edition (I'm not a fanboy) is better and costs the same, I assume there are more mounts for it too.
