No, you need a powerful PC. There is very little hardware in the glasses themselves - all the processing takes place in the PC - a receiver does not have a graphics card or a powerful processor.

Yes, I like to watch movies on Netflix or something, I recommend the Virtual Desktop application for that. The games on the Oculus look great and with the debug tool you can even improve the quality if your pc is good enough. Watching movies with the Oculus is like being in the cinema. If you want to know more about the Oculus, just ask. Greetings Redheido

It depends somewhat on what games you play and whether they are primarily 180° oriented. I bought a third sensor after about a year and would actually recommend this to everyone; in practice, I now 'lose' myself much more in virtual space, whereas before it was usually noticeable when I turned away from the two sensors because the touch controllers were no longer detected so well and thus went wandering from time to time. A third sensor behind me has worked wonders.

I can't recommend the Oculus Rift for people who wear glasses. For people who wear glasses, the HTC Vive (Pro) is the better choice because you have more space for glasses. There is generally no adjustment option for the focus, but there is one for the interpupillary distance. Are contact lenses an issue?
