Meta Rift VR + Touch
No, you need a powerful PC. There is very little hardware in the glasses themselves - all the processing takes place in the PC - a receiver does not have a graphics card or a powerful processor.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer any for a test :(
The glasses have a combined USB and HDMI cable. Wireless is only possible with a special module.
I run my Oculus Rift on Win7 without any problems. The installation was a bit awkward at best.
Jub. Are included. Scope of delivery: Oculus Rift , 2x Touch Controller , 2x Oculus Sensor Tip: Get the game Beat Saber directly. : -)
Yes, I like to watch movies on Netflix or something, I recommend the Virtual Desktop application for that. The games on the Oculus look great and with the debug tool you can even improve the quality if your pc is good enough. Watching movies with the Oculus is like being in the cinema. If you want to know more about the Oculus, just ask. Greetings Redheido
Sensors connected to usb3 to be placed in front.
Unfortunately, we do not have the sensors in our range. But what is not, could still be :-)
No, unfortunately that's not possible. I wear glasses myself and if they are not so wide, they fit.
Yes, the two infrared sensors are also included.
No, unfortunately the Rift is not on display in any showroom.
I had a similar problem. When setting up in general, it is worthwhile to have all your drivers (especially those for the GPU and the USB ports) up to date. Fortunately, I didn't need more than a few quick Google searches.
Yes, I play all three with these glasses. Note that DCS is not yet playable with the Touch Controllers.
Yes, you can do that with the appropriate app.
It depends somewhat on what games you play and whether they are primarily 180° oriented. I bought a third sensor after about a year and would actually recommend this to everyone; in practice, I now 'lose' myself much more in virtual space, whereas before it was usually noticeable when I turned away from the two sensors because the touch controllers were no longer detected so well and thus went wandering from time to time. A third sensor behind me has worked wonders.
In any case, you can register a return under this link; https://www.digitec.ch/de/ReturnsAndWarranty. The service centre will then check this. A discount of at least 10% must be expected.
As far as I know, you can only buy the sensors individually on the official site. I have done this myself. The delivery was quick. https://www.oculus.com/rift/accessories/
Under the following link you will find all the Oculus Rift articles we can offer: https://www.digitec.ch/de/Search?q=Oculus+Rift+&take=66
This should basically be possible with any laptop that has 2x USB 3.0 ports, 1x HDMI port, min. i5 processor, min. 8GB RAM and one of the following graphics cards: GTX 980, 1060, 1070, 1080.
Unfortunately, we are not able to procure them, we recommend contacting the manufacturer directly.
Yes, just like the Vive and PSVR, the Rift has a built-in microphone. So the multiplayer VR apps work across platforms, thankfully.
This seems to be an error on the product page in the scope of delivery. Please contact customer service for further assistance. The following should be included in the scope of delivery after comparing the manufacturer number 301-00095-01 with other sellers: Rift VR goggles, 2x sensor, touch controller, manual, 2x AA batteries, lens cleaning tool, audio tool, 2x Oculus stickers, 6x free titles (Lucky's Tale, Medium, Toybox, Quill, Dead and Burried, Robo Recall).
Should have disappeared by now ;)
I can't recommend the Oculus Rift for people who wear glasses. For people who wear glasses, the HTC Vive (Pro) is the better choice because you have more space for glasses. There is generally no adjustment option for the focus, but there is one for the interpupillary distance. Are contact lenses an issue?
