Does anyone have experience with the Oculus Rift on an Asus ROG Z390-F gaming motherboard with an Asus Geforce 1060? I've been trying in vain for two days now to get the glasses to work, it doesn't recognise any HDMI signal. I've also tried a USB 3.0 HUB, HDMI to Display Port and HDMI to DVI adapters. Nothing has worked so far. All drivers are up to date. All installations are new (Oculus software, drivers, etc., but not Windows, as the PC is only a month old).

But my setup is much different: Lenovo Yoga 920 with Kitio Node Thunderbolt 3 eGPU + Nvidia Quadro P4000... Only 4x DP ports, no HDMI

You must make sure that your HDMI cable or adapter is active. There are passive cables that make everything difficult.
What connections does your GeForce 1060 have?
I had to try a few cables and adapters until I found the right combination.
