As soon as we have a suitable supplier, we will try to include the cable in our range. Unfortunately, we do not have any more detailed information on this at the moment.
For wireless, there are rumours that Oculus is working on an official solution, but that was the case a few months ago.
If you want to play directly on the PC via cable, you can connect it via Oculus Link (official Oculus app) and your Quest becomes an Oculus Rift.

Because it's no longer available, there's a big demand, an algorithm calculates the price from supply and demand? Something like that, probably.
Tip: Facebook is presenting the Quest 2 today. Higher resolution, better SoC (Qualcomm XR2 chip...), lighter, more comfortable and above all: cheaper. Everything already known from quasi-confirmed leaks.
Enjoy. Especially the Facebook account compulsion.
There are no stupid questions
It is indeed the case that in the Occulus Store all prices are displayed in US $.
All purchases I have made have been in dollars.

Hey Davidfurrer
I just recently bought the Quest. And I have to say that the big advantage of the Quest is the integrated tracking, without additional sensors. It's really practical to be able to turn 360° without having to think about a cable. For me this is a new vr experience! Still, I don't want to miss out on the performance of a gaming pc, and with the Quest and the right cable, you don't have to! So it works very well for me. Another advantage is the Oled screen. The disadvantage is the weight and the uncomfortable original strap and pad. But that can be changed.
I hope I have helped you.
The whole thing is not comfortable. But the battery only lasts for about two hours, which is bearable. Personally, I'm a bit demanding and I didn't find the whole thing comfortable.
Games cost money, but there are some free demo versions that you can try and also various apps such as YouTube or Netflix, which you can install for free.
Hello.
The Quest is a standalone wireless headset. It contains a system based on a Snapdragon SoC used in smartphones. The operating system is a modified version of Android.
The Rift S is used with a PC, to which it is connected by cable.
The quest is a standalone headset with no need for an additional computer to run it. The rift S requires a good PC to run it.
From a pure performance point of view, the rift S is better. But the freedom offered by the Quest (no cable or PC) offers greater immersion.
