Do I need thermal paste with this AIO?

Does the AIO also fit LGA 1200? I ask because the NZXT website says that it also fits LGA 1200 but there is no trace of it here.

The AIO won’t show in task manager (just as unknown USB device) and the screen, which normally shows the temperature, just shows a grey square. Is it DOA or did I just do something wrong?
