I am looking for a compact device to produce beats. Besides the keyboard, it should also have a "beat square" à la Maschine ("loop pads"?). It doesn't have to be a square, rows like on this device are also possible. What is important is that such loop pads are available. Furthermore, the device must work with Mac and Logic Pro X, and should be directly connectable, i.e. without an audio interface or similar in between (I don't have such a thing, I use a USB Mic). Therefore, the device must also "get along" with the USB Mic (Rode NT USB) (although I will probably not need the two devices at the same time). In summary: it should fit harmoniously into my current setup (iMac, Logic Pro X, Rode NT USB, no audio interface) and not cause any problems.
My maximum budget for it is around 200. I don't want to spend more than that at the moment, but I'm sure there is something out there that meets my above requirements. If there are devices that meet my requirements but are significantly cheaper (like this one), that's fine with me, of course ;) However, it should not be a very cheap model of modest quality. It should run solidly and reliably and above all be easy to use (I'm not a technician). An included loop library would of course also be highly desirable.
