Could someone tell me if they managed to connect this phone to a 5GHz wifi? Nokia 2.2 can't whereas specs say otherwise. Thanks.

Thank you for your time and answer! Much appreciated! Looks like any phone with a 802.11n spec does not imply being able to connect to both 2.4 and 5 GHz wifi networks. Urgh!

it depends on the country / operator: You should check the specific country that you wish to go to and or the operator that you wish to use. Overall without knowing the details with 3 umts bads 5 gsm bands and a wide band for 4G it looks like it's a phone that should not have serious problems anywhere.
