I can very well understand the displeasure and am very sorry to hear that you had to cancel your order of this game. For pre-orders of very popular products like this, we only allow as many orders as we can cover, as unfortunately we only receive a limited number of units. If we later realise that the number of orders exceeds the number of pieces we receive, we have to contact the affected customers and unfortunately inform them that the item is sold out. The Limited Edition has been in our range as a pre-order since the beginning of August and therefore the customers who ordered first have priority.

I only have "shipped" as of today and the delivery tracking says "Estimated delivery date: 8 December". I hope it arrives today, but the release date seems to be the shipping date, which is a shame. I'm used to getting pre-orders 1-2 days before from other online retailers. At least my order wasn't cancelled because of too many :)

Since the availability has a white tick in the green circle, the item must indeed be back in stock. Apparently it is even available in several branches. So either Digitec has subsequently received more copies from Nintendo, or perhaps several orders were cancelled or returned in their original packaging. In any case, a few of them are now back in stock :)

We are dependent on our supplier, no lead time is guaranteed, as with every new Nintendo product that is in high demand. It is not in our interest to disappoint our customers with wrong delivery times, but we simply cannot guarantee any delivery times. Regarding your request, that is correct. We operate on a "first come, first served" queue system.

If the statement and observation of the accepted answer in the link below is correct, then that would have been 09.09.2018: https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/QuestionAndAnswer/wenn-ich-die-limited-edition-jetzt-vorbestelle-erhalte-ich-es-dann-zu-100-117240
