myStrom WiFi switch
0.9 Watt
Yes, you can even assign the plug to a room. Just use the official MyStrom app! I hope I was able to answer your question correctly. :)
Unfortunately, I don't know anything about mains batteries. I switch the mystrom from Apple Home Kit on and off. You can also set up a schedule or set the whole day from when to when there is power and when there is not. If you connect a floor lamp, you can also set it to holiday mode and then the Mystrom switches the lamp on and off sporadically.
Ja, via IFTTT.com
Yes, and log into the new network
Since this runs via a cloud account and there is no function for sharing, you always have to use the same account on the app.
Gemäss Infos vom Hersteller geht dies. https://mystrom.ch/de/support/mystrom-app/
Does the mystrom system only work if I am a Swisscom customer? I have a different Internet provider?
The switch also works with other providers (I have Sunrise and it works great).
Amazon on 230V connection? No problem, but the MyStrom adapter always needs an active Wi-Fi connection to the router to be switched on remotely. The MyStrom adapter also works as a timer, once set up, it no longer needs an active Wi-Fi connection, so you can have your Amazon Echo switch off automatically through the night without having to activate your Wi-Fi. To connect the Amazon Echo directly to it, i.e. to switch the MyStrom adapter on voice command, you probably have to make a diversion via APP (IFTTT or similar), but it should work (even if with a 2-3 second delay). Otherwise, the switching works very well via the MyStrom app.
No, the Phillips Hue Bridge itself can only control other Phillips Hue devices. If you have an Apple TV, it can be used as an "Apple Home Hub" and will be able to control both myStrom switches and Phillips Hue lights, as both are compatible with Apple's HomeKit.
Yes, it works with any WLAN. It certainly works with the app, I have not tested the Apple Home kit.
According to https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/ProductRating/funktioniert-top-auch-in-verbindung-zu-ifttt-und-google-assistant-231688, this works wonderfully.
Has a measuring spectrum of max. 2300 watts. See MyStrom website.
Yes, it also works with HomeKit.
The price is not the normal one, it was lowered because of the last catalogue. The product remains in the range and there is currently no new model in sight.
The maximum switching capacity is 2250 watts (see https://mystrom.ch/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/Safety_Instruction_myStrom_WiFi_Switch.pdf). The delivery includes an adapter.
Based on my observations, it is possible to connect a multiple plug to it (of course, only the total current is measured). As far as I can tell, the timer also works without Wi-Fi.
Even if I don't understand the relevance of the question (the speed is not decisive for such a device): According to https://mystrom.ch/de/wifi-switch/ Yes. Specifically IEEE 802.11n. This means 2.4 and 5GHz, but not 802.11ac.
digitec has to earn something, right? just order it from swisscom if it's too expensive for you ;-)
No, that's not possible. The thing loads all the data into the cloud and is also controlled from there. The switching times are saved, but you can no longer access them. That's how it was in my tests.
