myStrom WiFi switch
Is the MyStrom Switch also Apple HomeKit compatible?
The switches work with HomeKit. The support is still unofficial, but it works. You need the latest version of the MyStrom app and the latest firmware on the switches (update if necessary). Then you can read the HomeKit code of each switch in the settings. You need this code to manually register the switch with the Home app from Apple (iOS 10).
The Mystrom Switches work wonderfully with Apple HomeKit!!! I have 2 in use and I have even integrated them into scenes, they can even be controlled by an Eve Door Sensor (when the door is opened) I am very satisfied and really surprised that so little marketing is done as they are actually quite unknown (follow various blogs).
is it true that it only works if you have the new internet box 2 from swisscom?
Does the switch also work WITHOUT an internet connection? Set up switching times with an internet connection and then operate it WITHOUT an internet connection with electricity metering (must be placed in a location where I have no Wi-Fi).
The MyStrom switches are visible in HomeKit, but cannot be configured. So it doesn't work at the moment. I don't know if this will be expanded, but I can well imagine it. However, the switches can be operated wonderfully in the MyStrom app. It works perfectly and I can only recommend it. I've been using them since Feb 16 and have never had a problem with any of the switches. Everything runs reliably.
Hi MADgwave
No, they are two different components with two different functions.
Here is the information from the manufacturer:

AppleHomekit compatible devices must be marked with the same logo.
