I can't say anything about the LED (it's been too long since I had to set up the pen), but the Slim Pen 2 works perfectly with the Microsoft Surface Pro 11th Edition for me.
Hi, according to official Microsoft sources, the Surface Slim Pen 2 is compatible with the Surface Pro 11 (11th Edition), supports 4096 pressure levels and Bluetooth connectivity. Your in-house data explicitly lists Pro 8, Pro 9 and Pro X, but current Microsoft support information and customer reports extend this to Pro 11.
If the connection doesn't work, try this:
- Make sure the pen is charged (about 15 h of battery life)[in-house].
- Long press the top button until the LED flashes (pairing mode), then search in the Windows Bluetooth menu (Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Add device).
- Update Windows and Surface drivers via Windows Update.
- Test with USB-C cable for charging directly on the tablet.
Microsoft Community and Support confirm that it works. If it still hangs, check our Community or contact Microsoft support.
The Microsoft Surface Slim Pen 2 is compatible with the Surface Pro 11 (11th Edition).
- The pen supports a wide range of Surface devices, including the Surface Pro 11[5|.
- To charge the Slim Pen 2, it can be charged in the Surface Pro Signature Keyboard or in the Charging Dock of the Surface Laptop Studio. It is also possible to store and charge the pen in the pocket of the Surface Pro Signature Keyboard.
This means that the Slim Pen 2 is compatible with both the Surface Pro 11 and the Surface Pro Signature Keyboard for charging.
The pen itself is great. Very light and lies well in the hand! I was more bothered by the fact that you have to buy the charger separately, I only saw it afterwards. 1. I couldn't use it straight away and 2. it ended up being more expensive than planned...
In my eyes, this is not a function of a pen, no matter what brand, but of the app in which it is used. The app brings this functionality. Unfortunately, I don't know which app that is for Samsung.
