Hello I use exactly this combination. The monitor is connected to the Surface pro 4 via Surface Dock. Everything works perfectly. The only problem with the graphics card is when playing films with Microsoft's own "Media Player" or the "Movies & TV" app. The whole system freezes and can only be brought back to life with a hard reset. Playing the same media with the VLC player works perfectly.
