Item 5834044 is a business version with different warranty conditions. The specifications themselves are identical.

At full load, the fan is audible, but not annoying for me. I cannot judge how much CPU load is generated by 1-2VMs or C++ programming, but my memory- and CPU-intensive programmes have caused the Venti to switch on rather rarely. Tip: Do not expose it to direct sunlight during operation (e.g. window). The device doesn't like that at all (heat build-up). But all in all, a TOP device. Still 5 stars.

The power supply unit is included. A Swiss plug is also included. (If you buy a docking station, the Surface can be charged via the dock instead of the power supply included).

A monitor can be connected to the unit via the MiniDP port using any adapter.

Due to many pre-orders, the product could be delayed a few days if ordered immediately.

According to the technical data sheet, it should be possible, but I cannot confirm this 100%.
