No, no dongle is required. However, it requires batteries (AAA), so charging via USB cable is not possible.
Possibly ask Logitec, but I'm not sure... maybe look on eBay...
The connection is made via Bluetooth, so the keyboard works with pretty much any device that supports a Bluetooth keyboard.

Hi, it does not have any usb or cable connection, you have to have bleutooth, but maybe you can get a bluetooth usb to sick on your pc

According to the information we have, it should theoretically be compatible with at least Mac OS X v10.10.5 / 10.11.1 and 10.11.4.

My keyboard broke a few days ago (glass of water spilled over it). I haven't disposed of the keyboard yet and could "glue out" the ESC key and send it to you, or the whole keyboard... LG

Yes, this can happen with Bluetooth keyboards (which do not work with a dongle). I have a Bluetooth keyboard (Keychron) and it acts exactly the same way. :)

No, the keyboard has the CH layout, i.e. the top row consists of "QWERTZUIOP".

The keyboard has the normal CH layout (QWERTZ and not QWERTY as in the product picture). Accordingly, to the left of the Z is the "T" as usual and to the left of the Y is the "<>\" key.
As a Bluetooth keyboard, it should work in principle. The special thing about the Surface keyboard is that it has to be connected via USB the first time to establish the connection. This happens automatically with Windows, but should be problematic with Android.
The device must support Bluetooth to connect.

This product uses two AAA batteries. Therefore you cannot connect a charger to the keyboard.

Unfortunately, Microsoft doesn't have device-specific dongles like Logitech.
