Microsoft Surface Keyboard

No, no dongle is required. However, it requires batteries (AAA), so charging via USB cable is not possible.
Possibly ask Logitec, but I'm not sure... maybe look on eBay...
The connection is made via Bluetooth, so the keyboard works with pretty much any device that supports a Bluetooth keyboard.
If the Mac Book has Bluetooth, then Yes...
Hi, it does not have any usb or cable connection, you have to have bleutooth, but maybe you can get a bluetooth usb to sick on your pc
According to the information we have, it should theoretically be compatible with at least Mac OS X v10.10.5 / 10.11.1 and 10.11.4.
My keyboard broke a few days ago (glass of water spilled over it). I haven't disposed of the keyboard yet and could "glue out" the ESC key and send it to you, or the whole keyboard... LG
Yes, this can happen with Bluetooth keyboards (which do not work with a dongle). I have a Bluetooth keyboard (Keychron) and it acts exactly the same way. :)
No, the keyboard has the CH layout, i.e. the top row consists of "QWERTZUIOP".
bluetooth so yes. just has windows buttons. look at the logitech mx things.
The keyboard has the normal CH layout (QWERTZ and not QWERTY as in the product picture). Accordingly, to the left of the Z is the "T" as usual and to the left of the Y is the "<>\" key.
As a Bluetooth keyboard, it should work in principle. The special thing about the Surface keyboard is that it has to be connected via USB the first time to establish the connection. This happens automatically with Windows, but should be problematic with Android.
The device must support Bluetooth to connect.
This product uses two AAA batteries. Therefore you cannot connect a charger to the keyboard.
Nein, die Surface-Tastatur gibt es nur grau. Als Alternative ev. die Tastatur "Microsoft BT Keyboard"
Yes, as noted in the title and specifications, this keyboard has a CH layout (Qwertz) when delivered. May not come across that way in the picture, as general pictures created by the manufacturer are shown.
No, the Microsoft Surface Keyboard does not have a finger print reader.
According to Microsoft, the following data must be given on the PC: Interface: Compatible with Bluetooth Low Energy 4.0/4.1 Operating system: Windows 10/8.1/8 Windows 10 Smartphone Android 4.4.2-5.0 Macintosh Mac OS X v10.10.5 / 10.11.1 and 10.11.4 System requirements for optimal use: PC that meets the requirements and has one of the following operating systems installed: Windows 10/8.1/8 Mac OS 10.10.5/10.11.1 iOS 8.1-9.2.1 Android 4.4.2-5.0 However, with the Windows layout, I would not recommend using the keyboard on a Mac.
First of all, I am very satisfied with this key board. Regarding your question, I would not know, as I use the keyboard with a Windows PC.
Well, this would only guarantee that every laptop that comes to the docking station also has Bluetooth, and not necessarily that the keyboard connects every time... Unfortunately, Microsoft doesn't have device-specific dongles like Logitech.
In my opinion, it's just the colour. Silver or grey
