I connected it via mDP to DP (v1.4) and the result is that the picture is "distorted". None of the many setting options have done anything for me. The screen I am using is the BenQ EX3501R. I therefore contacted BenQ's Tech Support yesterday. Let's see what they think.

The docking station only has two mini-DP connections. For HDMI you still need an adapter (must be an Active Adapter). Recommend the one from Microsoft Microsoft Mini Display Port to (HDMI, 23cm) or from Club 3D Club 3D Active Mini DisplayPort to (HDMI, 15cm).

This has nothing to do with the Surface dock. If you are using the Unify receiver for your Logitech mouse/keyboard, you can "programme" it yourself. Contact logitech support or use google for the necessary steps.

Does the behaviour occur with the laptop closed or open (or both)? The dock only has a limited resolution it can provide, perhaps this is exceeded with the external screen plus the laptop screen.

The best thing is to contact the customer service directly. They will then send you an adapter. You can also go to a shop where they might also give you an adapter.

Hello Unfortunately, I can't quite imagine what you want to do. If you want to connect the Surface docking station to an Ubiquiti switch, you need an Ethernet cable: digitec Ethernet patch cable RJ45 (S/FTP, Cat. 6a, 3m) If you mean something else, try to be more specific. Regards

No, it should work. The monitor input is set to Displayport? (Some monitors do not switch automatically). Plugged into the correct Displayport? (Monitors that support daisy chain also have a display port out; it doesn't work there). Is the cable plugged in correctly? (Some cables are a bit stiff)
