As far as I know, yes, it is possible to install an already registered licence on a new workstation, but you will not be able to use them simultaneously.
The current versions of Microsoft Office are multilingual (German, French, Italian, English, ...) and cross-platform (Windows and Mac) and can freely determine the language of operation.
This version contains only one licence, so unfortunately this will not work.
You can remove the licence from the device in the Microsoft account and assign it to another device. However, it can be assumed that you want to use the devices alternately, so this is not recommended for you.
You would need a version with at least 2 licences.
If you were to buy the software as a "download", you would simply get a key, which you would get with the CD anyway. Whether you install the programme from the internet or from the CD, I think it depends on the same thing.
Is that what you meant?
-> I would first ask the customer service what they have to say about it. There is certainly an MS hotline that can help with such things.
Buying Outlook is possible, you can also install different Office versions at the same time (at least I know it works for Windows).
I would advise against reselling it, as this will only cause problems if it is activated several times, for example.
You can also contact support in your MS online account.

Since Windows 11 is still relatively fresh, there is little information on the Internet, but the Microsoft page says: "Minimum requirement Windows 10" so I assume that it should also work with Win 11.

The Community is for enquiries about ownership and use of the products. For all other questions, please contact customer service.
However, where availability is unknown, this means that we are out of stock and awaiting information on possible supply. As soon as we have more details, we will update the delivery time.
I just backed up my iMac late 2012 including all loaded applications such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Lightroom etc. via Time Machine to a new iMac 2020 8TB without any problems.
I did a quick google for you: No, Windows 8 is no longer officially supported. https://www.microsoft.com/de-ch/microsoft-365/microsoft-365-and-office-resources
as you can see, it says: unlimited 1x. this means that it is ONLY valid for "1" PC. if you want to use the software for your grandmother, you must first "INSTALL" it on your PC. Then you can install it on your grandmother's PC.
Greetings Alregina
Yes, you can. Here is a link with the procedure: https://answers.microsoft.com/de-de/msoffice/forum/all/office-home-and-student-2019-auf-neuem-pc/93276b37-aac5-4e12-b90b-a233d606b826
If you have forgotten your login or it is no longer valid, etc., you have to contact MS yourself, which can be quite complicated and time-consuming.
Advise everyone to make a note of the MS login, to enter an alternative valid email address and a mobile number, as well as to log in to a Microsoft account (Outlook.com, or Hotmail) from time to time if this is not used as the Windows 10 login, otherwise the email address will be deleted after some time, which then becomes complicated (see above, first sentence).
Hello Olivia
You will probably have problems with the installation. Supported from Mojava 10.14, according to Microsoft website:
"Starting with the 2020 December Update (build 16.44) for Microsoft 365 for Mac or Office 2019 for Mac, macOS 10.14 Mojave or later is required to receive updates for Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote. If you continue with an older version of macOS, your Office apps will continue to work, but you will no longer receive updates, including security updates."

Can you maybe update your MacBook to a newer version?
How do you install it if it is not bought for the admin himself but for another person, e.g. for grandmother's PC?
When I redeem the product key in my Microsoft account, it is tied to my account and Microsoft does not feel able to transfer the licence to another account.
Grandma can't reinstall Office without my Microsoft account. And under Account it says "this Office belongs to xyz" (your grandson).
In other words, how do service providers install this product without tying it to an MS account in advance?
