No, you don't have to. At the end of the term, Office is simply finished. I buy the licence every year at Digitec, usually in some promotion. The code doesn't expire (that quickly?), it is simply valid for one year from the date of redemption.

That I don't know but if you have just the one computer it should work. I work from home and have it install on my computer but also on my iPad which is part of the license agreement.

Yes, it is possible to log in to an iPad Pro 2018 with the account on which the Office 365 licence is active. I have set this up myself for my studies.

Hi Crumpet, in the german version Mac OS X is mentioned as a supported OS.
Tablet licences only go to devices with screens under 10.1", which the Surface is not.
Also works without restrictions for subscription renewals. I also use it that way.

you have to wait until your code expires and then enter the new one. just leave it in the box and use it when you need to renew, not before. the code in the box doesn't become invalid :D
It didn't work for me either. I had to call support. The problem was with my email address. They then re-triggered the code to another email address and it worked.

office 365 can be used on multiple devices (usually written in package) you can use it online on phone or tablet and laptop but for limited time usually (depending of witch version you get ) 1 year . the office 2016 are al the parts of office just for one pc tho :)
