No, the price is not due annually. Digitec sells you a key for 1 year. After that, option 1 or option 2 comes into effect.
Option 1: You can buy such a key again at Digitec.
2nd option: You let the subscription run via Microsoft, then the amount is deducted annually or monthly. (CHF 69.95 per year or CHF 6.95 per month)

after entering the key, you will be asked whether you want to activate the automatic extension. i can only advise against this, as it is usually more expensive than the offers from digitec.
