hello everyone i have a notebook hp omen with hdmi input and as output a dell monitor with displayport. does this cable work or do i need an adapter (as answered above by maude comte)? thank you very much

I have a mac book air 2021 with USB C output on which a hub is connected that allows me to connect an hdmi cable. I would like to buy a cable that allows me to connect the mac to hdmi and my screen to display port. Which cable do you think would be suitable?

Unfortunately, to send an HDMI signal to DisplayPort, you need a converter. Like this for example: InLine HDMI to DisplayPort converter cable (3 m, HDMI, DisplayPort)
