Yes, it fits. I just bought it for my old G6. It works wonderfully with it. The GH5 is on order and I'll be using it mainly for that. The difference is the cropfactor 0.71 for the Ultra, 0.64 for the XL. I would recommend the XL for the GH5. I have the same setup.
