The Speed Booster XL 0.64x utilizes an advanced optical design with six elements for exceptional performance, featuring an incredible aperture of f/0.80 – a new record for the Micro Four Thirds format. The new Speed Booster XL 0.64x reduces the full-frame crop factor of the Panasonic GH4 from 2.0x to 1.28x, effectively transforming the camera into the APS-H format. When the GH4 is used in Cinema 4K video mode, the full-frame crop factor decreases from 2.34x to 1.50x, effectively converting the GH4 into a Super 35 format 4K film camera. Additionally, the light intensity of each lens is increased by 11/3 stops, with a maximum output light intensity of f/0.80 when using an f/1.2 lens. For example, a 50 mm f/1.2 lens becomes a 32 mm f/0.80, the highest light intensity available for the Micro Four Thirds full frame.
