Questions about M-Cab DisplayPort — HDMI (Typ A)

You won't be able to get above 60Hz with any variant of HDMI. For that you'll want to use a "true" DVI-D or Displayport cable. Since this is a hybrid, it uses the "lowest" standard. Should have worked. No reason why not. Only audio does not work then
