Yes this trackball can be connected either directly with Bluetooth or with the supplied USB dongle. However, the thumb can be overloaded when using a thumb trackball, which can then also lead to inflammation. A better solution would be a trackball that is attached in the middle and can be operated with two fingers, for example. These are available from Kensington, for example, and this model could also be connected via Bluetooth: Kensington Orbit (Wireless)

Dear Janine Unfortunately, there is no such thing, because it would require a completely different housing. It is not a mouse, but a trackball. With a mouse, you can design the housing so that it works for both right- and left-handers, but with a trackball, the whole construction would have to be "turned around". Since only a few people are comfortable with a trackball, the potential clientele and the market for it are probably too small to make it worthwhile to design a special left-handed model.
