Questions about LG Velvet

I bought this mobile phone. Now I'm wondering: Why wasn't the packaging sealed and the headphones taken out?! Even inside the box it was dirty. As if someone had kept it open for days.

Does it come with Dual Screen?

The TV still hasn't arrived. Digitec can't do anything about that. LG says it will arrive within the next 2 weeks. Has anyone received a TV yet?

How to activate 5G in Switzerland on the LG Velvet: Despite numerous updates (now Andoid 11), LG still hasn't deigned to offer the 5G option in the network settings. So here's how to do it manually via a hidden menu: - Type in the code #*462633*#900# on the phone's dialer, as if you wanted to call someone. - In the hidden menu that appears, select "Field Test", then "Modem Settings". A list of setting options is now available for the network. - Choose "RAT Selection" which will give you the options of which network generation you want your Velvet to connect to. - Select "GSM/WCDMA/LTE(5GNSA) Auto". And there you have it, your Velvet will now be able to connect to 5G if available where you are! I'm on Sunrise with an NLD Velvet, model LM-G900EM under Android 11. It also works for the LG Wing (secret code to type with ...*#100# at the end, which is the LG phone model number). Only hitch, now under the settings "Network and Internet" / "Mobile networks" / "Network mode" in the settings appears the number "26" under "Preferred network mode". And in the options you still only find "2G/3G/4G automatic" at maximum. You will have to go back to the hidden menu to reactivate 5G if you select an option in this menu. I really don't understand the logic of LG to propose a phone stamped 5G without the 5G option... Yet everything works, under Sunrise anyway. ABE

I have no 5G reception with Sunrise. Are there people who have the same problem? The network mode can only be selected up to and with 4G.

Has anyone managed to connect this phone to 5G yet? Especially with Salt.

Does WiFi calling and volte work with Salt? Have a LG g8s according to LG and Googel it should also work but does not work with Salt

Why does 5G only work with Swisscom? Is it the device or the provider? Can we assume that it will work with the other providers in the future?

Mobile phone has arrived, but the IMEI no. is apparently not eligible for registration for the TV promotion. Pretty crap, I must say.
