At first glance, the UK850 offers HDR10 support, hardware calibration of the monitor and internal speakers. The USB ports on the back are also not quite identical. You'll have to check the technical specifications for more details. HDR is supposed to provide more contrast and truer colours. The hardware calibration is especially necessary when you want to edit and print pictures, so that the print shows the same colours as on the monitor. The information from the calibration is stored directly in the monitor, which means, in simple terms, that you can connect the monitor to any PC and it will always display the same colours.
Yes, that is correct. HDR10 is supported. -> https://www.lg.com/de/monitore/lg-27UK850-W
Sorry, I don't play.
LG 27UK850-W (27", 3840 x 2160 Pixels) Ein Monitor ist wieder verfügbar :-)
Yes, the base can be removed from the monitor. The VESA mount is then hidden behind it.
I quickly measured it. Exactly 19 cm. So on an 80 cm desk you have 61 cm from the edge of the table to the screen. That's plenty for the keyboard and an A4 sheet of paper and a spare.
Hello Actually, it is not necessary to buy a power cable, Digitec should include a proper one. If this is not the case, simply write to support quickly. It will be delivered free of charge. Regards
Which cable do you use for the connection? The cable supplied with the monitor or the Apple charging cable?
On the German LG site, the 27UK is listed as no longer available. The UL seems to be the successor. It also has the DisplayHDR400 symbol and Display Port V1.4. I think both are of little importance in practice. Here are links to the German data sheets: https://www.lg.com/de/support/products/documents/27UK850-W.pdf https://www.lg.com/de/support/products/documents/27UL850-W.pdf The price difference and the availability at digitec seem much more important to me. I am very satisfied with the UK. I probably didn't want to wait for the UL. Maybe there will be a sale on the UK at some point?
I've also been following the monitor for a while. 2 months ago it was still 499.- (without promotion). UK27L850 is the slightly stronger model (in addition HDR400) after enquiry at LG. Funnily enough, the L version was cheaper for some time...funny The UK model (i.e. this one) is available from the competition for around 500. And the L-model now for 500.- too. I can't keep up ;D Only that Digitec has a bad offer for these monitors I can say after a longer observation...
...Digitec just, like all other items, the price has gone up everywhere! ;)
I use all four connections and can say that they all support 4k at 60hz. However, the prerequisite for this is that your cables and end devices are capable of outputting 4k 60hz.
I use this model myself with my Ps4 and can say that it works perfectly. I don't feel any input lag. Just remember that the Ps4 outputs its image at a maximum of 60hz, i.e. the input lag is at least 1/60 second (16ms) regardless of the monitor.
Yes, it works. The monitor has a USB-C input and 2 HDMI inputs.
Screen is 43cm high in the lowest horizontal position. In the highest 54cm (horizontal).
I can only confirm this. Works perfectly with the Macbook.
...the best thing to do is contact Digitec customer service: digitec@digitec.ch
I can't say about waking up fast enough. But the USB hub actually switches off when the monitor goes to sleep. Connected hard drives are mercilessly disconnected and the USB-C also no longer supplies power. So, unfortunately, this monitor is not really usable on a MacBook Pro. In addition, the back of the monitor is made of white plastic, which at the very least takes some getting used to.
850 also has integrated speakers. I bought the 850. I am satisfied!
Yes, it has an HDMI 2.0a or 2.1 port This display supports HDR. Only HDMI 2.0a or HDMI 2.1 can support HDR
hello @bayermann -displayport -hdmi -usb c all in white to match the screen. unfortunately, the power cable to the external power supply has a german plug. this does not work for us. lg rené
Yes, the stand is slightly undersized, but it should not rattle. But that is not only the case with this monitor. Alternatively, you can use a wall mount!
Yes, cheaper but I've been waiting for a week...
