Lenovo ThinkPad Thunderbolt 3 Workstation Dock Gen 2
Thunderbolt, 13 Ports
Hello I'm happy to answer that, but unfortunately it doesn't work. Only one screen is running or the same image is displayed on both screens. I run my MacBook Air M1 on a Targus DOCK190EUZ with two screens, but you need a driver for this. Hope this helps. Greetings Melchior
Hi, This docking station uses the 230W slim adapter from Lenovo, you can find it here: Lenovo ThinkCentre 230W AC Adapter Gen 2 Slim tip - EU (230 W)
For laptops from different manufacturers, I recommend a solution from an independent manufacturer such as this one: i-tec Dual (85 W, USB C)
I think your notebook has two Thunderbolt-3/USB-C ports, you should be able to tell by the lightning symbol next to the port. Then this docking station will work. However, the paired HDMI and DP ports are combined. This means that you can only use one of these connections at a time, i.e. max. 2 monitors.
This product is compatible with the following models: ThinkBook 13; 14; ThinkPad E14; E15; P73; X1 Carbon (7th Gen); X1 Yoga (4th Gen); X39X. If you need to, please email us with the serial number of your laptop so that we can send you the compatible reference. https://helpcenter.digitec.ch/hc/fr/requests/new Please don't write it here in comments for security reasons. :)
Hello 1. according to Lenovo website https://support.lenovo.com/us/de/solutions/accs-guide, file ThinkPad, ThinkCentre, ThinkStation, Ideapad and Ideacentre Option Compatibility Matrix the model P52 is compatible 2. a 230W power supply with an EU CONNECTOR is supplied, but a C13 cable with a Swiss plug can be used. A 2nd power supply is not necessary to use the docking station.
Compatible models: ThinkPad L390, T480, T490, X1 Carbon (6th gen.), X270 (2nd gen.), X280 (2nd gen.) Note that the notebook can be supplied with a maximum of 60 W via this dock. For some of the notebooks listed as compatible, this is not sufficient for power supply during operation. For these, an additional power supply unit must be connected directly to the notebook. Details of any restrictions can be found on the manufacturer's website.
