It has software. Download and try it out ;-). PDF also works. In principle, every print job is portioned to the label format. You should have this under control.
In principle, the Brother QL-xxx printers should be suitable. Foil labels are available for this. Otherwise, the industrial printers from Zebra, for example, come into question. There are various types of labels for them.
I had the same idea - also unsuccessfully! Now I print Webstamp on A4 sheets...

A battery is not included, but can be bought separately (also at digitec, see accessories).
The starter set includes a Leitz Icon label cartridge (88 mm, paper material, permanent adhesive), USB cable, power supply, power cord and cleaning cards.
