Yes, the battery starter kit is only available in yellow/black. However, there is a separate battery and charger in grey/black. I don't see why not, it's just sprays a cleaning liquid and then sucks it up. It might not be as efficient as a closed / tight textile though. You might be better with a brush and some carpet cleaner, or something like Dr Beckmanns

Yes is not included in the scope of delivery. I recommend an 18V 5.0ah battery, as the runtime is too short with 2.5ah.
Color. White is the new brand color for Karcher devices intended for personal use.
As far as I noticed, only the colour. I don't like yellow in the flat ;)
But good to know: Neither has a battery!
