Good morning, I ordered this chair and set it up. The question is can I adjust the height? Either that is not possible or I am too d...mm:-)

Hi Thank you for choosing our chair :) At the bottom of the seat you will find 2 levers, one to lock the rocker function, the other to operate the gas pressure spring, with which the chair can be moved up and down. Another question: is the rocker function (seat inclination) lockable, or can a desired inclination be locked or can the rocker only be switched on/off?

Yes, the tilt can be adjusted and locked, both for the backrest separately and for the seat as a whole.

In the video, the chair is advertised as "genuine leather", but "leatherette" is also mentioned. So what is it? Genuine leather, imitation leather or even both?

Ok, after a lot of research I found out: Real leather for Stealth and Storm, PU leather for Raid Blue and Raid Red.

I currently have the Akracing Master Pro Gaming. The seat is a bit too long for me (57cm), but the seat width is ok (41cm). I do not use lumbar cushions. The seat of the Joule is 39 x 51 cm, the question is whether you can feel the 2 cm increase in height. Does anyone have experience with it who is a bit more basket-shaped? I am 1.80m and 105kg. It's more difficult to try it out at the moment because the shops that sell it are closed.

I have a Nobel Chair that is a bit hard. I wanted to change to this one because everyone says it's comfortable. But I don't see how it's measured, whether people just find the style comfortable, or whether it's the cushion that's soft and comfortable. That's what I'm wondering. Has anyone had a Nobel Chair before and can give a direct comparison?

I tested the Epic and the Joule and if you prefer a chair with alcantara for a comfortable seat, Joule is the one to suggest. :)

I use my chair on parquet with the castors provided and it works perfectly so far, despite my daily home office and gaming. Why are you looking for special castors?

I also have wooden floors & have not invested in a floor mat. For the size, I can't help you but specify for others that I am 198cm tall & it fits.

I am interested in this chair, but I would like to know the size of the backrest, the width at the shoulders, it is not marked anywhere. And is it more comfortable than the sharkoon skiller sgs4? The sharkoon is quite big, for a big person. Can anyone help me choose between the two?

I don't know the sharkoon. I'm 197cm tall and the joule suits me fine. The neck cushion is too low but otherwise no problem.

The armrests can be lowered, pushed back and rotated, but they can also be dismantled.

Hello, I received the chair today and set it up straight away. If you move slightly forward when sitting, the chair has a free space in the mechanism, i.e. it wobbles slightly forwards and backwards. This was almost the same reason why I changed from my AKRacing to this chair after 5 years, but the AKRacing was top for almost 5 years without these wobbles.... Do I have to live with this or is it a mistake? If the size/weight should be a question: 185/85kg.

Hi DarthShadow. Unfortunately, the differences are difficult to see at first glance. We use a completely different upholstery than the competitor does. In addition, the cover of the seat is made of Alcantara. Both factors contribute to the seat feeling much softer and gentler. We also have a model of the competitor in our showroom so that you can make a direct comparison. As soon as the current situation has eased, you are welcome to see for yourself. If you don't want to wait any longer, then you can trust my testimony :)

I could not find the answer for this particular seat. However, having bought similar seats in the past, they are delivered unassembled, so it is normally possible to leave the armrests off.

i will certainly buy one if i have to have a chair then please one that is made of real leather, and not some vegitarian stuff! i'm not a cow after all, am i? ;)
