hello can I use this adapter to connect a screen via VGA in a USB plug which is 3.0 but which doesnt support video output? (my 3.0 UBS plug doesnt have the symbol near the USB SS which indicates display port). Thank you in advance,

Does the USB VGA Converter need drivers to be installed?

Yes - a driver must be installed from the CD supplied BEFORE the adapter is plugged in. Runs under Windows10 without any problems so far.
