Hello, I bought this product but have now found 2 matching power supplies in my cable box. What are the exact outputs for the power supply? 20V 2.0A or 12V 1.5A

The exact specifications for the power supply unit of this docking station are 20V and 2.0A. This corresponds to the voltage and current required to operate the device. A power supply unit with 12V and 1.5A is not suitable.

Hi, I have this i-tec docking station which works great. the only thing I can't explain is that with the connection laptop to docking station the charging of the laptop does not work... as I said, connection to screen via the docking station etc. works perfectly, but only the charging of the laptop does not. am I doing something wrong? my laptop is a Lenovo T14s with USB-C port many thanks and regards

Hello fMessina77 This docking station is available in 2 versions. Like you, I have ordered the wrong one in the past. The correct docking station that charges your notebook via USB-C is: 979270. Unfortunately, it is only written in small print in the product information. Greetings

It is ("only") an interface for 2 monitors, USB and speakers. It is not a transformer/charging station that can recognise the power of all available laptops and operate them with optimal power, but needs power itself in order to function. But therefore works with all laptops.

Product purchased "used, 24 months warranty". Did not work when first used. Product returned to Digitec, who returned it to the manufacturer, resulting in a 2 to 4 week delay, I find this unsatisfactory. I think this product is unreliable and should be withdrawn from sale. What do you think?

I have installed the driver for the 4KDock on the MacBook Pro 2023. There are 2 monitors connected to the dock via Display Port. When I connect the port to the MacBook with USB-C, no monitors are displayed in the settings and the monitors notice that something has happened but report "no connection": What can I do?

Hello - Do you have the latest displaylink driver/software installed (1.8.1 Build 63.180)? Is the displaylink software running (you can see it at the top of the bar, two rectangles that overlap - are the screens "mentioned" there)? Have you made the settings "System settings => Privacy & security => Screen recording => Display link manager ON"? Reboot already done? Power is on and plugged in (at the back of the itec?). I have a 2022 M1 with i-Tec and Display-Link... 2 monitors (DP) on 4K - sometimes it's a bit "bocky" - then only helps: disconnect dock, switch off dock, switch on... but then it works for hours with me ;) LG

I want to use my LC-Power LC-M34-UWQHD-100-C as a split desktop. Unfortunately I can only select the resolution 3440x1770 for both sides. As Doc in Station I use the one given here with 2 HDMI cables. However, as the screen has a 21:9 ratio, I have to select 1720x1770 as the resolution, otherwise the picture is very distorted. I can't find anything on the internet, I've been trying to solve the problem for over 8 hours. A downloadable driver or something would be helpful.

Hello I have the following setup: M1 Macbook Air with two monitors (ASUS ROG Strix XG32VQR, BenQ RL2755HM). When I connect the docking station, the laptop does not charge. In addition, both screens are not recognised. Can you help me here?

Hello I have a Lenovo Thinkpad t480 with Ubuntu 20.04 LTS and would like to connect 2 external monitors (1x Asus 24 ", 1920 x 1080 & 1x AOC 24 ", 1920 x 1080) with the docking station. Does anyone have any experience with this? I read on Reddit that it is often problematic.

Hello, Yes, Ubuntu is one of the supported systems. But the DisplayLink app can just use the laptop's CPU on Ubuntu - if you want to use the docking station for any GPU-intensive work, then a docking station based on another technology would be a better fit for you. If you would contact our Technical support - support@itecproduct.com - we could recommend you a docking station. But please let us know what other requirements do you have (number of monitors, their resolution). Best Regards i-tec Team

I have a Lenovo T470 connected to the i-tec via USB. from there to an Eizo and ASUS 4K monitor, both running fine at 60Hz. But, the i-tec doesn't have enough power to supply the laptop with electricity! So it has to run on its own power supply.

Will send this dock back tomorrow. Completely unusable for my application. Wanted to operate a MacBook 2019 OS Monterey with 2x 27" monitors. The idea was to work only with the MacBook thanks to this dock (in the office > external keyboard 2 monitors and mouse). Too bad for this application is that I the right dock. Maybe it works better with the Windows PC.

I use this docking station and am very satisfied with it. Unfortunately, it has now happened for the second time that the USB-C port on my hp Elitebook no longer works after about 2 months of use - not even on other docking stations. The connection via the old USB port still works. Is this a known problem and is there a solution?

Yep... I have the same problem. Additionally, I have the problem when I have a conference with MS Teams, after a certain time the monitors switch off (2 HDMI monitors connected). Would look for an alternative....
