It was the same for me. I tried everything possible to turn the microphone up. In the end, you could hear every little thing... That's why I sent it back. But not everyone seems to be like that.

I bought the same headset for PC gaming, where it is recognised without further ado and works well.
When I tried to connect it to the PS4 at college, I had the same problems as you described.
It seems that the PS4 doesn't recognise the headset's sound card when you connect it directly to the PS via USB.
My solution was to connect the headphones directly to the controller (3.5mm jack). The microphone and headphones were then recognised. So connect the headset to the controller and search through the PS4 options...

Unfortunately not with us, please excuse me. You can still try the manufacturer directly or send in the headset (if purchased from us) as a warranty claim.
