HELP: what does the current situation look like in mid-2022 with regard to apps? will I also get Swiss apps on it? TWINT, ThurgauerKantonalbank ? Migros, Coop, Ricardo, Cembra, SBB, SWISS etc.? I think Spotify, Instagram and Facebook can be accessed from several corners, and YouTube is still only available in the browser... For me, it's a disaster. I don't want to leave Huawei because of the good zoom function of the camera, which allows me to take top photos of animals from a distance or of the moon, and because it's convincing everywhere else. unfortunately i haven't found a worthy other phone yet, samsung galaxy s 22 plus, onePlus 10pro, oppo find x3 pro , xiaomi mi 11 pro etc. just can't keep up! the new flagship phones all rely on ultra angles and the zoom isn't nearly as good as on my "old" P30 pro.... I'll have to stick with the Huawei P30 pro until another solution comes along :(

So everything works for me! There is no app that doesn't work. Twint, cantonal bank app, crypto apps, youtube, fb, whatsapp, anything. Just look for p40 pro gms on youtube. But I think the current price is a bit steep when I paid just under 400 for the phone. Greetings

What about apps that are used exclusively or mainly in Switzerland? I'm thinking of eBanking, PeakFinder, SBB Mobile, SRF Sport, Swiss Map, SwissCovid and many others. Can these apps be obtained from other stores?

You can download all apps on huawei's own browser, there is a link at the top right to continue using exactly such apps even without google. e-banking etc... I know that these also work in the meantime Huawei is doing everything it can to use their devices as well as possible without Google.
