Since it is 3.5mm jack, it should be compatible with older IPhones. However, the new ones no longer have a jack connector.

In this case, that would be an OMTP connection. Not a CTIA connector, which is primarily supported by Apple products.

I use them with the Samsung Galaxy S4 and they work (incl. remote control) themselves here. So they should be compatible with all Android devices (no guarantee).
