A brief update on my previously described experience regarding the service centre's refusal to honour the warranty due to a slight soiling on the silicone plug of the headphones. Digitec contacted me and offered to send me the now well-cleaned headphones again. They will even pay the transport and analysis costs. I would like to thank Digitec for the solution they offered and confirm that they proactively found a solution for my case. Thank you!
Hello Nadine,
I bought the Freebuds with a Huawei p20 and have since switched to the Pixel 6. Some functions can only be operated in the app that Huawei has developed. However, this app is also available online or (not entirely sure) in the Playstore. So it shouldn't be a problem and if they don't work, I'm sure Digitec is willing to take them back.
I've been using the Buds for about 1.5 years now and I'm actually very happy with them, but if you want to buy a better product for the same price (but less aesthetically) I'd recommend the Sony WF-1000XM3, they're currently on sale at Digitec and offer a better experience in terms of noise cancelling and sound.
Kind regards
Unfortunately, they are not available for purchase, but it would be best to ask Huawei directly, perhaps they will send you a replacement (https://consumer.huawei.com/ch...).
I agree with the previous speaker. The US sanctions have no influence on Huawei's headphones. The battery is really sensational, everything else is as the previous speaker said.
Yes, it's absolutely no problem. If you then also want to make all the settings, you have to install the AI Life app from the Huawei App Gallery Store. Works wonderfully on my OnePlus 8 Pro
