Question about Huawei Freebuds Pro

Not a question, but unfortunately a very bad experience with Digitec, or rather the service centre for the product Huawei Freebuds Pro. The right headphone suddenly went defective after less than a year and no longer produced any sound. Sent the buds in and received a warranty refusal on the grounds that there was a lot of dirt. This related to some earwax (which unfortunately happens with Inear headphones) which was on the inner part of the REMOVABLE silicone plug. I understand that I should have cleaned them more thoroughly, but if I had sent the Buds without my personal silicone plugs, this reason would not have been given. The actual defect related to the technical part of the headphones and not to the replaceable silicone plug (which always comes in different sizes with the product). Digitec itself would have offered me 7CHF more than the original price and ignored my lack of understanding about the above-mentioned reason. I am extremely disappointed how the costs of a warranty case were pushed back onto the customer. I have always been very enthusiastic about Digitec, but now I have a rather bad feeling about ordering more expensive products if the guarantee is not carried out.

A brief update on my previously described experience regarding the service centre's refusal to honour the warranty due to a slight soiling on the silicone plug of the headphones. Digitec contacted me and offered to send me the now well-cleaned headphones again. They will even pay the transport and analysis costs. I would like to thank Digitec for the solution they offered and confirm that they proactively found a solution for my case. Thank you!
