I have only used it on the road. I don't know whether the range at home is sufficient for all rooms. I always carried the AP in my trouser pocket for myself and possibly family or colleagues.

Yes, we have been on the road in various states in the USA and never had any trial problems. Tip: The battery does not last forever. A power bank is recommended depending on use ;-)

Check the VPN setting is different depending on the network provider. I have also had this problem. You seem to be in Spain where it works perfectly with Sunrise on the Moviestar network.
The device uses the 4G signal to generate a hotspot (WLAN). It therefore requires a SIM card. There is no LAN input on the unit.
