Can the WLAN created by this 4g router be used as a normal home network? Is it possible to use a smart home assistant to control smart home gadgets?

I have only used it on the road. I don't know whether the range at home is sufficient for all rooms. I always carried the AP in my trouser pocket for myself and possibly family or colleagues.
