I use it with an HP x360. I wrote directly to HP before buying it to make sure it was compatible.

I can't confirm this, I use an HP Pavilion.
Originally, the HP Active Pen G3 would have been intended - but this pen should also work.
Unfortunately, this article is not compatible with the HP EliteBook x360 Dragonfly, but we can recommend this version: HP Active Pen G3 which is compatible.
Hello, The PEN does not support all x360 models. On this website: https://store.hp.com/SwitzerlandStore/Merch/Product.aspx?id=1MR94AA&opt=UUF&sel=ACC&lang=de-CH under the menu item "Suitable products" you can check whether your device is compatible at all. You must also have Windows 10 installed, as the PEN is accessed via Windows 10 functionality.
Unfortunately, it was not compatible with my Spectre x360.
I have a pretty similar laptop and it works without any problems. I assume it won't be a problem for you either. They're not that specific, these pens.

As long as your notebook has a touchscreen, the pen works. With a normal display, of course, it doesn't work.

All HP pens work on HP Touch compatible laptops. This means that if your HP laptop has touch, the pen will work, if it does not have touch, it will not work.
The pen only works with HP devices and not all of them. I have 2 HP Spectre and each one needs a different pen to work.
