Yes, you can. In the Macrumors forum you can find a lot of information about using the card. However, it is recommended not to install the HighPoint Mac driver. Unfortunately, then you can't use the GUI properly either. I threw out the HighPoint driver because I had problems booting from other drives (Win). But I'm not sure if it was really because of that. The card is recognised by the Mac and chipset drivers are loaded. Connected NVRAM appear in Disk Utility as drives that can be formatted. Had it in a MacPro4.1; runs great! However, there are problems under OSX from High-Sierra with RAID configurations if you want to configure this as a start-up drive. This is only possible in a roundabout way.
