Questions about Hario Skerton Pro, coffee grinder

I have the problem that the degree of grinding changes during grinding as the grinder opens further and further (the degree of grinding becomes coarser and coarser). Does anyone else have this problem? I'm actually trying to get a medium grind for the French press.

First of all: I am very happy with this grinder - exactly what I was looking for and I also had the patience to wait for a good price. But it's funny how the "system" works: I get an e-mail today telling me that this thing is now available for Fr. 46.90. But if you then click on this thing in the e-mail, it appears - even today - at the current price of 70 Alpendollars?! And also funny: I bought this thing, which I'm happy with, back on 7 November 2022, for 46.30 ! I don't know how long and why they want to keep this Galaxus-Digitec-Galaxus thing going? Meanwhile, the whole world knows that it's just a "pot"!

Do I see that Galaxus is presenting a fake product photo here? As I see it, the Hario Skerton "Plus" is pictured here and not the "Pro". You can also see that the Plus and the Pro have the same photo...

Can nuts, chickpeas or pulses also be ground?
