Hi If the rechargeable batteries are empty, but I still need a powerbank right away, could I also put normal, non-rechargeable AA batteries in it and use it as a powerbank that way?

I think it should work, however overall the product does not work well, extremely slow and cannot charge much, the voltage drops too fast.

I am looking for a powerbank with a USB connection so that I can charge my phone. The powerbank must be able to run on batteries. Would this model be suitable? Are there any alternatives? I can't find any suitable devices so far. Thanks for the help!

Yes, the model is suitable for charging a mobile phone with conventional AA or AAA batteries. If rechargeable batteries are used, they can also be recharged. However, the power bank does not have fast-charging technology, so mobile phones charge very slowly. The charging capacity is also limited by the respective batteries.
