I wrote to support and this was the reply:
"I was happy to look into your request and regret to inform you that we are unable to provide a definitive delivery date for the Google Pixel 9. Google would like to start delivering the products from calendar week 37, but unfortunately exact dates and quantities are not yet available."

We work with daily prices, which can be influenced by various factors such as purchasing conditions, stock levels and supply and demand. It can therefore sometimes happen that older models are more expensive than the current ones.

The battery life is absolutely sufficient for me. To save the battery, I charge it to a maximum of 80%. Nevertheless, it easily lasts until late in the evening.
I'm on Insta, make phone calls from time to time, frequently send and receive WhatsApp and emails, and often listen to music. But I rarely watch films (Netflix) and don't use AI that often yet.
But I'm already "on" for 5 hours a day.
With Pixel 9 series (except 9a) you can't activate it anymore.
