At the moment, you can switch Philips Hue lamps on/off and change the brightness and colours with Goole Home. The lamps must be assigned to predefined rooms (hallway, living room, bedroom, etc.) using the Google Home app. More information about the commands at https://support.google.com/googlehome...

It depends on what you expect from Google Assistant with the PC or Nintendo Switch? Turn it on or off? The Google Home setup etc. only works with the iOS or Android app, of course you can run this app with an Android emulator on Windows, but who does that :). You can control Chromecast compatible devices though, and with Chrome and appropriate plugins also on PC. Tradfri can be easily integrated directly with the Tradfri Gateway in the Google Home, alternatively via Hue Bridge. The lamps can then be controlled by voice. Have a look here: https://assistant.google.com/explore

Google Home is better by far. The voice recognition is better -> The functions are more diverse. The only place where Alexa may (still) have a head start is with controllable devices. But Google is quickly catching up there. I already had both, and now only use the Google Home exclusively.

This is also the case with us. Google Home obviously recognises the person's voice and can assign it to the accounts if both are registered. For example, it plays the last playlist from my girlfriend's account when she gives the command to play music and mine.

The whole thing works fine, but you have to brush up on your Sunday German. Understandably, Swiss German is not possible. I have integrated my IKEA smart lighting, the AV receiver and the Huawei robot hoover, and it all works very well.

No. If the device only supports Spotify Connect, it will not work. However, many devices that can handle Spotify Connect often also have chromecast built in. As far as I know, Google Home can only play content via Chromecast. I have a Chromecast on my hi-fi system and a Sony device with Chromecast built-in. I can play music with Google Home on both devices without any problems.

Open the Google Home app. Open the hamburger menu at the top left. Open more settings. Open Shortcuts. Press the plus button. Note: unfortunately it is not possible to link several commands together, only relatively simple shortcuts work.
