Question about Google Home
I have found out that I can control Spotify and play music via Google Home. But can I also redirect the music via Google Home to a Spotify Gear that is connected via Spotify Connect?
No. If the device only supports Spotify Connect, it will not work. However, many devices that can handle Spotify Connect often also have chromecast built in.
As far as I know, Google Home can only play content via Chromecast. I have a Chromecast on my hi-fi system and a Sony device with Chromecast built-in. I can play music with Google Home on both devices without any problems.
