Questions about Godox V1

Buy Bowens S2 Adapter: Godox S2 System Flash Adapter Bowens Mount (Bracket) and then buy any softbox with Bowens Mount. However, more than 90cm diameter is useless. E.g. the Godox SB-GUE81 (Softbox, Bowens) Alternatively, google SMDV Flip for Godox V1.

Doesn't seem so. It is also no longer in the Fotichaestli range. It was probably not a big seller. But Godox does indeed offer it in a Pentax version.

The Godox V1 (clip-on flash, Sony) can indeed be used without being directly connected to the camera, thanks to its wireless functionality. - The flash uses a wireless radio system that allows the flash power and other parameters to be controlled from the remote control without the need for a direct physical connection to the camera. - It operates via radio waves, typically in the 2.4 GHz frequency range, and allows control of flash output, colour temperature and other modes such as TTL, manual and High Speed Sync (HSS) from a distance of up to 100 metres.

The Godox V1 TTL Nikon (clip-on flash, Nikon) is not fully compatible with the Nikon Z6. It only works to a limited extent, especially only in aperture mode (A).

Absolutely no problems! PS: I also have the Profoto A10, can highly recommend the Godox V1 and best of all the Nikon SB 5000 ;)!

No controller. An external trigger must be purchased separately. Godox has recently released a much smaller version.

Yes, this is possible - at least in combination with my Canon R5. In my opinion, it should also be possible with other brands and models.

I think not, to connect new cameras (with multifunction contact) with older flashes there's the Canon AD-E1 multifunction accessory shoe adapter. Answer without guarantee.... But if it could be done without any problems, why would Canon have created an adapter? cf. topic EF lens to RF bayonet camera. LG Chris

I would be very surprised if it didn't work. I use the V1 on my R5, and I've also had it on an R6. It won't be any different on the R6II. No problem on the old 6D, 7D, 5DIII and 5DIV either.

It comes with a small charger to plug in the battery and then with USB.

Xpro and X2T triggers fit safely and also with TTL. CT 16? Probably not. At least not with TTL.

The cine cameras cannot trigger flashes.

This is the Canon version. It is not compatible with the Sony Alpha 7 III. You need the Sony version: Godox V1 TTL Sony (Aufsteckblitz, Sony)

I have the SMDV Speedbox Flip 24, which is quick to set up and fits the Godox V1 perfectly.
