What do you mean? Another handset? Apart from the Gigaset Comfort 500 A Trio (CH version)
CHF 112 with three handsets, I can't find an offer without an integrated base station at Galaxus.
There are basically two types of telephony, the analogue like yours now
And then the HX versions.
You need to clarify which ones work with your provider!
I hope I was able to help you.....

Gigaset Comfort 500A (CH version)
No, the device does not have Bluetooth ...
... but a headphone socket;
I was unable to test whether this also supports wired headsets.
But: hands-free function is very good! Clear and interference-free voice transmission (e.g. handset placed on table, leaving hands free for computer keyboard etc.). I almost always use it.
Of course, it's no use if you don't want anyone else in the room to overhear the sound of the person making the call ;-)
Hi
We had exactly the same symptoms. Changing the batteries didn't help. All 3 devices showed the same behaviour 2 weeks apart.
The new 500A also has 2 AAA batteries.
If the set lasts another 6 years, then I personally don't mind "this fault". I have been extremely satisfied with the Gigasets for almost 25 years.
Greetings
Hi
No, everything is included for operating two handsets (charging cradle, mains adapter, batteries, etc.).
It's a very good device. I have been using Gigaset's for years without any problems.
Greetings
The Gigaset Comfort 500 A Duo (CH version) is basically compatible with the Swisscom Internet Box 4, as it is an analogue landline telephone that can be operated on the analogue connection of the Internet Box. However, it does not work via DECT, but via the analogue connection, which is why not all the advantages of digital DECT technology can be used. The basic telephone functions should work correctly, but advanced DECT functions of the Internet Box are not available.
1. the Gigaset Comfort 500 A Duo (CH version) does not have a separate LED to indicate missed calls without having to search for them in the menu. Missed calls are shown on the display, there is no flashing LED to indicate this.
2. the handset volume can be adjusted on the Gigaset Comfort 500 A Duo. The phone offers the option of adjusting the volume individually to customise listening comfort.
The Gigaset Comfort 500 A Duo offers a speakerphone and a 3.5 mm jack connection for headphones, but no integrated wireless headphone connection. However, you could use a wireless headset adapter that is compatible with the 3.5 mm connection.
The Gigaset Comfort 500 HX is a DECT handset that can be connected directly to a DECT-enabled Internet router. It appears that you are trying to connect it to a Sunrise Connect Box 3, which is normally not possible directly as the Connect Box 3 does not have a DECT module. The error could be due to the fact that the Connect Box 3 is not designed to connect directly to DECT handsets. You may need a DECT module or a DECT base station to use the handset. If you need further help, I recommend consulting our Community or contacting customer service.
The telephone has an analogue connection and is supplied with a telephone cable that typically has RJ11 plugs. This cable can be used for connection to the Sunrise Connect Box 3 Fibre, provided it also supports an RJ11 connection.
The base station can be connected directly to the telephone socket, the second device has its own charging station and must first be registered via the base before it can be used without further connections. Cables are included in the packaging.
No, with the Gigaset Comfort 500 A Duo you cannot make calls to two different telephone numbers simultaneously with both handsets, as would be possible with an ISDN telephone. However, the device does support simultaneous calls, but only in the form that an external and an internal call (between two handsets) are possible at the same time, but not two external calls to different numbers.

The "Gigaset Comfort 500 A Duo (CH-Version)" accepts up to 200 phone numbers in its phonebook, but does not support multiple independent lines. It uses DECT technology and allows up to 6 wireless devices to be connected to the base station, but it is not designed to manage multiple independent phone lines.
Yes, you can add more phones to the Gigaset Comfort 500 A Duo (CH-Version). This model supports up to 6 handsets in total, including those already supplied with the base station.
Gigaset models compatible for expansion are usually those from the same DECT range, but it is recommended to check specific compatibility with the manufacturer to avoid any problems. In general, handsets from the Comfort 500 A series are compatible, but it is always best to check the manufacturer's specifications for definitive confirmation.
