I have this card. It is not limited for cryptomining. Big but: Nvidia no longer makes chips WITHOUT LHR. This card is currently no longer available, and it will realistically no longer be available. Accordingly, you will probably not be able to buy a NEW NVidia card without LHR, except on the secondary market.

At the moment there is a worldwide bottleneck for high-end GPU's as not enough are produced and the ones that are shipped are already sold due to the high demand and low production capacity the prices shoot through the ceiling as even companies have to buy the cards first. In addition, scammers are picking up many cards and selling them at even higher prices, currently it is not worth buying a 3000 card, however, many 2080/super/ti cards are available "cheaply" from second-hand sources if you urgently need a card, otherwise you can only wait and hope that the prices will drop again.

The gpu are just late and they didn't say it is going to arrive on the 31 of december, they said between the 31 to the 4 of january

Unsure about the 2070. The card is much darker on the underside and the outer plate than in the photo, but not black. Maybe "anthracite", but not chrome.

I would recommend downloading the Aorus Engine and the NVIDIA driver from the Gigabyte website. In my case, the graphics card was then correctly recognised. In addition, you can then switch the fan setting in the Aorus Engine from Semipassive to Active Fan (at the bottom right just above the Home symbol). In my case, this was set to Semipassive by default, which means that the fans do not rotate under low load. With the Aorus Engine you automatically get RGB Fusion. With this, you can control the RGB lighting of the graphics card or, in the best case, switch it off completely.
